Thumbs up Hi and my preference

My preference is ProjectSim, it has all the features traditional PM tools have, and uniquely models the work, team behaviors and capabilities – communication, decision-making, skills, and experience. More at www.projectsim.biz

New open-source software

I am currently testing two new open-source tools called 2-plan Desktop and 2-plan Team.
2-plan Desktop is a innovative Microsoft Project alternative (graphical wbs, perspective concept, manual task types, reminder view....).
2-plan Team a web-based time-tracking and collaboration software with some basic pm features like gantt-chart, burn-down charts....
When you have a look to http://2-plan.com you can see that it must be possible to synchronize both software tools.

New totally free planning software ;)

Don't hesitate to add Express Planner to your list
Freeware and has an automatic scheduling engine which avoid over-allocation.
Check it here: http://www.planningforce-express.com/

hi

Hello

We use Moonlite for project management. It runs as software as a service, you pay as you go. It is really simple and easy to use. You can add as many users and customers as you like.

It also has some basic time management with reporting, chat and e-mail notifications.

They also have a 30 day trial version here: http://moonlitepro.com

Best,

Dave

Other as well, for me it's crucial for the software to be interactive and easy for online collaboration especially when many of the people involved in the project are in different parts of the world it's essential to have somewhere where we can communicate and share necessary files.

Web-based Project Management

I vote on any project management tool that is web-based. Having all tasks and documents from your business in one secure location is ideal. I have experience with a tool called AtTask, and because it is web-based, I can access my projects from anywhere and at anytime. Communication/collaboration between employees and project managers is much more efficient.

Web-based App Yottaflow

I use Yottaflow to automate and manage all my projects and tasks.
 • It's web-based so I can use it anywhere.
 • It's collaborative: team members and employees can negotiate the priority of assignments and due dates.
 • Plus it leads to fewer meetings and less email.

And there's a free version, so you can test it without having to commit to anything.

Smile

I have used "etaskman" for quite awhile now on my project. It is easy to use (web-based) and it is also FREE! This is what I am looking for.

I'd like to hear from users who have used primvera for project management solutions. I've used only Microsoft Project Management software till date. Good to see such response here for polls. What i like about Microsoft project scheduling software is that its application to different scenarios in different industries.
