Scheduling MS Project like Primavera

Hello,

My first post here. I've been using Primavera (P3 & P6) for awhile now but now need to manage some projects using MS Project 2003. My question is how do set up MS Project to 'schedule' just like Primavera? We have weekly update meetings to where I schedule by changing the 'data date' every week. If certain tasks don't start like they are supposed to, they push out to the new data date. Just want to make sure I set up Project correctly to mimic Primavera. Thanks.
