Setup and initiation of Project Management forum

Hi

I am a Newbie here...I would appreciate your help please.

I completed my Degree in Project Management. I started with my new job as ICT Project Co-ordinator. My current company have 2 project office. I was suprised and I've asked why cant we have the same project office or setup a forum where we discussed about anything in connection with PM. Now, I have been given a task to Setup Project Management Forum. I would like to get some advise as to how to setup Project Management Forum. Are there any standards or guidlines to highlight on how to perform this task?
