Project Initiation

Often, project managers fail to compile all the important details of a project and end up overlooking important aspects, thereby hampering the project delivery. Is there any way managers can create a proper checklist to adhere to and ensure the project's success?

Yes, creating a project initiation checklist prior to project execution is the right way to compile all the important attributes, including scope, goals, resources, risks, etc. A few crucial steps include validating the project charter, identifying key stakeholders, defining goals, assessing risks, allocating competent resources, etc.
Here is an insightful blog that elucidates the meaning and importance of a project initiation checklist and the steps involved in its creation.
