Consolidating Standalone Primavera P6 into one central database

Hi,

I am Consolidating Standalone Primavera P6 installation for our users into one central database. Anyone already having this experience please send any suggestion you think is important.

I have a plan to create separate EPS for each user (which were using standalone in past) and import its projects into that and create project profile will full access so that they can do whatever freely they want to do as they were working on their standalone installation. But I am thinking to restrict Global profile a lot so that users cannot see or do modifications which can effect others.

It depends what you want to achieve in the future. If you just plan to move the data to central database, and nothing else, no relations b/w projects, resource sharing, etc., your plan is perfectly ok. Anyway, you should also consider that Resources in Primavera are global data, i.e., it is shared in projects.
