Different between Project Methodologies and Project Approach

Look forward to received others opinion:
1. what is the different between project methodologies and project approach?

As i known Project methodologies A process that documents a series of steps and procedures to bring about the successful completion of a project; and A defined process for accomplishing an end.

while Project approach can be defined as A defined process for accomplishing an end and The process takes information from the Project Directive, together with information from a range of corporate and industry sources.
