Question Very close to meeting requirements for PMP. Need some advice on completion

I have about 1 month of experience to complete to meet the requirements on the PMP. My current contract is up in December at which point I will have met this. I satisfy the formal education requirement, but still need the 35 hours of training and to take the test.

I cannot seem to find a way to make contact with anybody at the PMI. I would like to get the PMP before my current contract ends or close to that. I'm wondering how to get somebody to look at my experience and verify it. Or do I need to finish my 35 hours and pass the exam then apply to start this process?

Also, I need to start investigating the best, and most cost effective way to get the 35 hours of training.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Jim
