Brief about Waban Software:
— Waban Software provides products and services that enable pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO’s, and academic institutes to capture, integrate, manage and analyze life sciences and clinical trial data.
— In addition to its statistical analysis and data repository offering, Waban provides Specimen Management Systems (Waban SMS) and Laboratory Information Management Solutions (Waban LIMS) for biobanking, pharmacogenomics and biomarker development. Waban LIMS helps to manage the samples and assays associated with biomarkers and pharmacogenomics. The use of biomarkers and pharmacogenomics is of growing importance in both the clinical development process and patient diagnosis, as it supports clinical genotyping, sequencing, expression, clinical pathology and other related processes.

As we widen our reach and embark on a challenging path of unstoppable growth, we are looking for Middle Management professionals to be a part of our existing team for our upcoming projects in Mumbai....

Selection Objective: The candidate should have a proven track record of successfully leading software development projects. Experience with developing software products is a plus. The candidate should be knowledge of management one or more areas including: technology, P&L, business development, operations and staffing. Experience in delivering innovative solutions, complex problem-solving, team building, and effectively analyzing and achieving product and client requirements in a timely and cost effective manner is a plus.

Role Overview:
Development Manager is the owner and custodian of the timely project delivery. Development Manager manages a team of software engineers to architect, design, and deliver software products.

Education: Bachelors degree. Certified or undergone the “PMP” Certification Training or MBA Degree preferred.
Skill set: Over 8 yrs of total experience, with 4 years of Project Management experience.
Experience with enterprise scale projects or product development experience is a plus. Experience of development methodologies, and software life cycles required. Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry regulations (21 CFR Part 11, Computerized System Validation, Good Clinical Practices etc.) is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc)
