Manages all project controls activities for major engineering and construction projects and programs. Defines and implements project controls business processes and standards. Manages and mentors project controls professionals including estimators, schedulers, document controllers, and contract managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Implements project controls standard operating procedures for large programs and projects
- Ensures accuracy and quality of budgets, estimates, schedules, issues logs, risk registers, change logs, contract documentation, and project files
- Manages project planning and scheduling efforts including the development of project baselines, schedule updates, schedule variance analysis, and what-if-scenarios
- Manages the development of project budgets, estimates, and forecasts
- Manages the creation of resource plans and forecasts
- Manages issue and risk processes and documentation
- Ensures integration of schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, issues, and risks
- Coordinates collaboration and information exchange between technical, managerial, and field teams
- Develops and delivers periodic reports to team management and clients, including back-up documentation in support of billing

Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Ten or more years of project controls or project management experience in support of engineering, design, and/or construction projects
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or finance from an accredited university
- Expert knowledge of CPM scheduling, cost management, and estimating
- Demonstrated ability to analyze schedule, resource, and cost information and develop clear and timely reports
- Working knowledge of standard scheduling software such as Primavera P6
- Working knowledge of standard contract management software such as Primavera Contract Manager
- Working knowledge of estimating software
- Professionally competent in the use of MS office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience leading project controls teams
- Proven history of developing client focused solutions
