| Does anyone use this software? I see where Niku has been recently acquired by Computer Associates. I wonder what that bodes for the future of the open source software...

| There must be thousands of users. It is developen from ABT Project Manager Workbench and Niku Workbench. Open Workbench is now open source. See http://www.openworkbench.org Martti K. |

| It is mostly open source. The core scheduling engine is not open source. I understand that Open Workbench was part of a marketing strategy to create interest in Niku's Clarity software. Will CA maintain the same strategy?

| As ABT Workbench was being developed, my wife was a PM who was essentially a heavy beta user. They spent a lot of time working with her on tuning the product. I just recently made the connection here. Her opinion, as a PM in software development, was that ABT was a better product than MS Project (at the time, some 5-7 years ago?) for the management work she had to do. (development of enterprise scale multi-tier, database intensive, many multi user software) I have started to experiment with OpenWorkbench to see how it looks today.
