Hi pm15127

If you would like to track issues (correct me if I'm wrong) perhaps you would like to seek assistance of your document control, otherwise you could further expand your query that others might shed response you might need.

Cheers

This is what I can suggest to track progress/schedule using MS Project 2003:

1. Save a copy of your baseline programme.
2. To save a baseline from your current file you go tools/tracking/save baseline.
3. Once baseline dates are saved, now you can update the progress for each task.
4. Once updated then reschedule the programme by tools/tracking/update project/reschedule uncompleted work to start after: (data date)
5. Analyze the programme after the update (make corrections to update if necessary)

Hope this helps..

Default MS Project MPP Viewer

hi pm15127,

For task trackitg in MS Project you can use ValleySpeak Project Server.
ValleySpeak project server is a centralized MPP Viewer that enables viewing and sharing of Microsoft Project schedules with team members in real time without investing in expensive multiple Microsoft Project licenses. You can try out its trial version.

Default Smells of a sales pitch

I am not sure if the above post is merely fluff but if you want to track your activities that are off target you can have a separate project file or you can do as others said and have a baseline to see variances in time and cost. Is this where you are going?
