Default MPA / MPUG membership

Is anyone here a member of MPA (formerly MPUG Global), the "Official Industry Association for Microsoft Office Project"? Is it worthwhile/useful?

I am not a member, so I can not say whether it is worth it, but I attend quite a few meetings. We have a very active chapter here in Sacramento and I have found the meetings mostly worthwhile, probably because I got to pick and choose what interested me. I use Project but my job doesn't revolve around it so the issues aren't as key to me as they obviously are to many others in the room. They haven't made the case strong enough for me to join yet but I recognize that I am not necessarily their target audience and there is value in the networking opportunity in an active, well attended chapter.
