Milan I suggest you check for any hard constraint that your schedule might have... contraint like "Expected finish" can have an impact to an activity's duration. HTH.. Christian |

Is this a Primavera specific question?

I am making the assumption you are using MS Project. It sounds like you have the automatic calcuation set to Manual. This does not allow MS Project to "think" until you hit F9 or turn the option back to Automatic. Go to >Tools, >Options, >Calculations, and examine Calculation Mode. It is my recommendation to leave this set to Automatic so the tool can work for you. Hope this helps! J Black www.pmconnection.com |

Using Expected Finish dates w/o Actual Start will change durations My best guess on the limited information provided is you are using Expected Finish dates on activities that do not have an Actual Start date. This will frequently cause durations to change. You should NOT use an Expected Finish date unless you also have an Actual Start. |
