P3 - How to auto adjust task start date based on predecessor?

I am beginner coming from using MS Project. How to I set my project to auto adjust the start date based on the task's predecessor? I have a time constraint on my projects finish date. I would like to be able to adjust my durations and then have Primavera adjust the next tasks start date based on the predecessors. Is this not a good idea? It is exhausting to enter in all of the start dates, early start, late start, for every task. What am I missing here? I am guessing that I am just missing something simple here. Thanks for the help ahead of time...

Once you've finished inputing your durations and relationships, just press F9 then enter or you could go to Tools/Schedule/...
