Default Managing office romance

According to a recent survey by Vault.com, 46% of workers have engaged in office romance and 15% have dated their bosses.

When pressure for singles to find partners mounts, the next best place to find romance is the workplace. How do you manage love at the workplace?

To me getting involve in an office romance can be good or bad. Good: in a sense that you get to know more people inside the company (esp. important ones) if you are involved with the right person. However, it usually end up Bad depending on the situation (case to case basis).

As to how you manage it, I believe that will depend on your company policies.

As a manager, it is better to prepare for the worst possible scenarios that could start when workplace romance ends.

I think you would find that completely the opposite in Iran. One of the state-owbed companies there encourage their employees not only to get involved in a romance but to get married, otherwise they are bound to lose their jobs... how does this sound to you?
