How to plot an S Curve On MS Project Please could someone assist me on how to plot an S curve on MS project or Excel? I'm at my wits end. I'm currently studying project management and one of the questions in my assignment is: Based on the outcome of your calculations, i.e. cost variance is negative or positive. Use the S curve to diagrammatically illustrate your answer Budgeted Cash Flow Amount Actual Cost variance R 3,000.00 R 3,000.00 R 3,550.00 R 550.00 R 2,000.00 R 2,000.00 R 2,200.00 R 200.00 R 1,000.00 R 1,000.00 R 1,000.00 R 0.00 R 4,000.00 R 4,000.00 R 4,750.00 R 750.00 R 10,000.00 R 11,500.00 -R 11,500.00 |

Not sure if MSP has a built in feature for it, but in general, to calculate an S-Curve, you want to graph the resources requirements for every time period. For example, manhours/cost per day/week. If your scheduling system can generate a histogram, you should be able to get the raw data you need for the graph.
