Nice article!
It really may help the unexperienced PM.
But I miss the practice of "Resource Leveling".
Bad resource leveling is one of the major reasons for unrealistic time-scheduling!

If you assign one resource to 100% in the critical path without any slack, you must know, that you will miss the deadline!!! But I saw this in many time schedules.
