Default scheduling algorithms

Hello,

I am interested in the algorithms used in the scheduling programs. I would like to know more about how the tasks can be scheduled and how the critical path is calculated (apart from using Dijkstra algorithm). Does anyone know some good book, articles or websites ?

Thanks a lot

best regards

Barthelemy

PDU Worthy Discussion

Hi Barthelemy, welcome to the forum.

Mr. Chris Hendrickson explains the basic algorithm pretty well in his book - Project Management for Construction, Chapter 10: Fundamental Scheduling Procedures
