Default who is planning engineer

Dear all
I am new planning engineer and I need help from expert planner , I need to know exactly what is duties must be performed by planning engineer, in other words I want to know what is the needed to be planning engineer.

I know it is difficult to find direct answer in one article to this question so please if any one has comments related to this topic please advice me and if any one has any web site that helps planning engineer to do their job as good as possible or offer definition of planning engineer (function of planning) kindly let me know.

Hi Alaa,

Planning engineers may be asked to handle a range of responsibilities depending upon the employer and the planner's experience level.

I'd recommend you browse around the Planning Engineers Organization site. They have some good articles there which you may find helpful.

Default Planning Engineer

A planner on a project has to play a role from a bid stage to actual execution.
So, also it depends upon the organization state of work, project execution, Structure etc.
please visit PEIL, where you may introduce among 100s of experienced planning enginers to enable you to introduce with their skills.

Oh, I see. They are a consulting organization. I thought it was going to be a non-profit professional organization with open membership.

I'll add them to the project planning consultants directory.
