This forum serves two purposes - the free form discussion of estimating techniques and for discussion/posting of estimating rates/formulas. If you would like to post some production/productivity rates, please use the following formatting rules:

• preface the thread title with Rate: and then summarize what work the rate encompasses
• in the message, please include a detailed description (where applicable) of the tools, method, conditions and location applicable to the rate.

If you would like to submit some rates for this forum, but don't want to claim your pmkb community brownie points (and undying gratitude from the great unwashed planners/estimators of the world), just send us a private message (PM) by clicking on our user name above this post and selecting the private message menu option. We will post the rate for you and preserve your anonymity.

If you see a rate posted and you disagree with it or would like to offer a rate for the same work scope but utilizing different variables (ie. different method, tools, conditions or location), just reply to the existing thread. Remember folks that any rates posted here are for estimating. Don't expect perfection!
