cost estimation

hello

I am new to this form. Please anybody can share with me ,the answer for my query below, it will be very useful to me in my job

How do we will have a online data base for price of plant equipment’s (Oil and Gas /Petrochemical) which will be updated as and when required.It is not always practical to collect the price from the vendor.

The softwares for the cost estimation are noramlly requires cost of the equipment ( For Example: Conceptual Cost Estimator)

Dear Bernad,

Thank you for your reply. Ours is a petrochemical plant consists of a ethylene cracker and a ployethylene plant (high pressure). So my doubt is modules shown are not suit to our conditions. We have been using primavera only for planning purposes and that also not resorce oriented. At present we are doing cost estimation manually with some hostorical data nad experiance
